TESTIMONIES

“My experience here is that of a deep joy. Thank You for Your warm and welcoming embrace. I felt how Jesus is so deeply present among us similar to his presence in the Eucharist. I think, on earth no deeper friendship exists, than that our Lord Himself knits together among those, who adore Him in the Blessed Sacrament at all possible hours of the day – and in such a short period of time...I also noticed with a deep joy in my heart, that Jesus Youth is not the usual “Youth-versus-parents-thing”. As one mother put it: “Our children are staying with Jesus. They are in His care. What better could we desire for them.”And yet parents are always there to help and listen and will always be part of Jesus Youth. It's a mutual thing – a family thing. It's a commitment for lifetime!”

“I had to give up my night shifts, because after doing my night duty I couldn't sleep during day. I was really struggling with the house work and rest all.
But after sitting for adoration from 11.00pm to 06.30am I felt more energetic. At 07.00am we participated in the Holy mass, I still did not feel tired. We went around to see the St. Peter Basilica. After three hours of sleep we came back for the adoration.I had come from home (UK) with aching legs and couldn't walk very far. God healed my leg ache while sitting in front Him.
Thank You, God, for Your very big Blessing!”

The Lenten Adoration was a complete Blessing for me, ...
It was a beautiful experience, especially the night adoration, when I, inspite of being very much tired, could get the splendid feel of “JESUS”  with  me. My eye did not move from the Blessed Sacrament, until I could see Jesus in the Eucharist. I experienced the presence of the Living God, and the power of the Holy Spirit; and was able to kneel and pray the whole night. I thank God for all who made it possible for me to have this wonderful experience..

The Rome intercession was a great experience in my Life. It became a great experience mainly because there was nothing to bother me,  I didn’t have to keep checking my watch if it is time to go… but just to sit in front of the Living GOD and just Adore HIM. The fasting, prayers and the Sacraments were a great blessing. I came back, casting all my burdens to our friend JESUS who took care of all of them. When I sit back and relax, I feel that a great burden is removed from my heart and nothing much to worry about. The real experience I had was when I returned back to London I started to hear testimonies,
  •  One of my friend staying with me got a work permit which was his dream.
  •  One of my other friend had a difficulty in registering with the University but that happened the day I reached London.
  • One of the Jesus Youth families, who were searching for a House for a long time, got the type of house they wanted.
Still waiting to hear many more testimonies…..

I have no doubt the Lord will bless you for your work and this will bear much fruit. Most of all thank God for everything.

These days I have been going for my morning prayers to adoration of the Holy Sacrament in a little chapel that the Brothers of Jesus Youth prepared inside a Centro San Lorenzo.
I feel that to be able to go every morning during the lent time to enjoy the presence of The Holy Sacrament, to be able to go deeper in my faith and to take more time on my prayer is a grace that God is giving me. Indeed, it is nothing else but a Grace to be able to enjoy His presence every day.
It is an additional Grace that follows the one that I was given before, that is, my complete dedication to my studies and to prayer in the eternal city of Rome.
That previous grace is still present in my life and continues to operate in me.  It makes me experience the call of God, who waits for me to come back to Him.  I feel that He waits serene, respecting my limits, my time, with patience. I know that many times I arrived late.  Yet still, He is always there waiting for me to come, waiting for the convertion of my heart, waiting to take my time and to make it totally His.
Specially these days I have being praying the Psalm 99 in which the Lord says “the Lord is good, his mercy is eternal, his fidelity for all ages”. Looking at my past and my present, I know that I can take these words and make them mine, because I have experienced the goodness of the Lord through all the good things that He has given me. I have experienced how big Lord’s compassion has been towards me. Not only does he forgive me when I betray His compassion, but also, and above all, He shows me that even though I am unfaithful, the Lord is always faithful.
For all this, I thank God and the brothers who have organized the adoration of the Holy Sacrament, permitting this close encounter with Jesus Christ in the Holy Sacrament.
